Pointer Rings

Pointer Rings Image
General Info:
There are five different pointer styles designed for scopes with 30mm, 34mm or 1" tubes. The pointer rings are made of ABS and the stylus is made of 1/16" stainless steel wire. The wire end, inserted into the pointer ring, has a 90 degree anti-rotation bend. This allows you to make Z-bends in the wire for purposes of exending its reach or altering its distance to the scope body.

More in depth pointer information can be found here.

Referencing the first photo at the left, we have the following pointer ring styles:
1. Turret pointer. This pointer holds the stylus vertical and is designed for use with indicating on the elevation turret.
2. Round wheel pointer. This pointer is designed for round wheel use and holds its stylus perpendicular to the scope body.
3. 20mm offset. This pointer holds the wire such that the distance from the scope body to the outside edge of the wire is 20mm. This pointer requires 22.5mm of clearance between the scope tube and the edge of the wheel.
4. 15mm offset. This pointer holds the wire such that the distance from the scope body to the outside edge of the wire is 15mm. This pointer requires 17.5mm of clearance between the scope tube and the edge of the wheel.
5. 11.5mm offset. This pointer holds the wire such that the distance from the scope body to the outside edge of the wire is 11.5mm. This pointer requires 14mm of clearance between the scope tube and the edge of the wheel. The 11.5mm distance insures that the stylus will clear the scope rings that normally protrude 10mm from the scope tube.
